MSOE men, CUW women win NAC Outdoor Track &
Field Championships The Raiders won the men's championship with a team score of 205, 59 points better than runner-up Aurora University. The Raiders captured titles in five events including the 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 1500 meter run, 4x400 meter relay, and triple jump. Benedictine University's Dylan Roff (Braidwood, Ill.) was named men's Rookie of the Meet. The freshman won both the 110 and 400 meter hurdles and placed third in the high jump. Wisconsin Lutheran College's Zach Shiels was named men's Track Athlete of the Meet. Shiels (Johnson Creek, Wis.), a junior, won the 5000 and 10,000 meter runs and the 3000 meter steeplechase. Sophomore Adrian Kibiersza of Aurora was named men's Field Athlete of the Meet. Kibiersza (Des Plaines, Ill.) won the men's shot put and discus events. MSOE's Larry Gardner was named the men's Coach of the Meet. The CUW Falcon women won three events which included the 400 meter dash, long jump and triple jump. This marks the second consecutive outdoor title for the Falcon women. CUW tallied 230 points to claim the women's championship, followed by Aurora University (142 points) who finished second, and Benedictine University (90 points) in third. Aurora's Stephanie Deluca was named women's Rookie of the Meet. Deluca (Ingleside, Ill.) won the javelin by over five meters. Aurora's Morgan Jacquette (Grayslake, Ill.) was named women's Track Athlete of the Meet. The sophomore won the 1500 meter run, the 5000 meter run and the 10,000 meter run while placing third in the 800 meter run. Junior Samantha Bloxdorf of Concordia University Wisconsin was named women's Field Athlete of the Meet. Bloxdorf (Hartford, Wis.) won the triple jump, was runner-up in the long jump and hammer throw, third in the discus, fourth in the shot put, and fifth in the javelin and high jump.
