Concordia Wisconsin wins Northern Athletics Conference Men's Tennis Championship
JACKSON, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin won the 2007 Northern Athletics Conference Men's Tennis Championship today at Pleasant Valley Tennis Club.

The Falcons, who went a perfect 6-0 in regular season NAC duals, won seven of the nine championships at two day day event. Concordia Wisconsin's 60 total points surpassed second place finisher Concordia University Chicago with 34 total points and third place Marian College which finished with 32.

Concordia Wisconsin's Ira Meiling (Wauwatosa, Wis.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Player of the Year. Meiling went 6-0 in regular season NAC duals at the No. 1 singles spot, and finished second at the NAC Championship. He and teammate Aaron Hoeppner won the No. 1 doubles NAC Championship.

Lakeland College's Andre Glass (Kenosha, Wis.) was named NAC Rookie of the Year. The freshman defeated Meiling in the No. 1 singles Championship, and took second in the No. 1 doubles Championship with teammate Mike Ruttlin.

CUW's Tom Weber was selected as Northern Athletics Conference Coach of the Year by his peers.
