CUW selected to win NAC men's tennis title
VERONA, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin received six of the seven first place votes in the Northern Athletics Conference men's tennis preseason poll and was picked to win the inaugural conference title this season.

Concordia University Chicago, which received the remaining first place vote, was selected to finish second. Lakeland College and Marian College both received 29 points, and were picked to tie for third place.

The CUW Falcons finished last season with a 12-11 overall record and captured their seventh consecutive conference championship in the former Lake Michigan Conference.

The Cougars of Concordia University Chicago had won the last two conference titles of the former Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference and finished last season with an 8-5 overall record.

The Northern Athletics Conference men's tennis teams will play a single round-robin schedule, and the NAC Championship will take place April 28-29 at the Pleasant Valley Tennis Club in Jackson, Wis.
