Marian begins search for new softball coach
FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Ann Felker has resigned as Marian College's head softball coach after five seasons to pursue other interests. Felker served as the head coach from 2000-2001 and then again from 2004-2006.

Felker was 112-94 (.544) in her five seasons as head coach. She sported a 51-15 (.773) in Lake Michigan Conference play. Felker leaves as the winningest head coach in Marian softball history. She also became the first coach in the history of the program to record 100 victories as she accomplished the feat on April 22 against Dominican University.

"I will always remember my years at Marian College. I think the success we had can be greatly attributed to the kids and the assistant coaches that have passed through here," stated Felker.

Doug Hammonds, Marian's athletic director, stated the search for a new coach is underway.
